However, before placing them, a vertical dimension increase with tabletops was necessary. This is done for patients with deep bites, where the upper teeth excessively cover the lower ones when biting down. If this issue isn’t corrected, the occlusion can create interferences that compromise both the function and longevity of the veneers. With this adjustment, we ensured that Stephanie’s new smile was not only beautiful but also stable and functional over time.
